1. Data controllers
The Konnect platform —the app, the mobile API, notifications, analytics, and service security— is operated by Property Partners Chile S.A., Chilean tax ID (RUT) 76.401.637-8, domiciled in Santiago, Chile, the parent company of the Property Partners network in Chile. For those platform processing activities, Property Partners Chile S.A. acts as controller.
The brokerage relationship with each client belongs to the network office handling the engagement: an independent licensee company that acts as the broker and decides the purposes for which its clients’ data is processed. When you use Konnect, you process that data on behalf of your office and under its instructions.
If your account is enabled by a different group entity (for example, operations outside Chile), the controller is the entity that enabled that account. Single channel for questions and rights requests: soporte@ppartnersgroup.com.
2. Account and identity
Sign-in uses the organization’s corporate account, managed by Microsoft Entra ID. Konnect does not ask for or store its own password.
From that identity we use the corporate email, the name provided by the directory, and the identifier required to link you to your CRM agent record. If no agent is linked, the app does not open a session.
3. Data the app processes
Agent data: corporate identity (name, email, internal identifier), role, branch, permissions, app version, and the technical device data required to operate the service.
CRM client data, depending on your role and branch: leads, contacts, properties, visits, tasks, comments, and search profiles. It may include a client’s name, email, phone, identification (such as the Chilean RUT), property addresses, and commercial notes. Konnect does not collect this data on its own: it displays and updates information that already exists in the CRM.
The app does not grant more access than the web CRM. The server filters every request by agent, branch, and permissions, and keeps the activity records needed to secure the service.
4. Legal bases
Each processing activity relies on a specific legal basis:
- Performance of the agreement between your office, the parent company, and you as an authorized agent: account, CRM access, visits, tasks, and operational notifications.
- Legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the platform: technical logs, access control, error diagnostics, and abuse prevention.
- Consent: product analytics in the countries where it is required (requested in the app and revocable), and each device permission, which the operating system requests before use.
- Compliance with legal obligations when a rule requires retaining or disclosing information.
5. Device permissions
Konnect uses a permission only when a feature needs it, and the operating system asks you first. You can revoke it in device settings; the related feature will stop working.
- Camera and photos: to capture or attach property images.
- Microphone: to record a voice note while describing a property.
- Location: to suggest the location of a listing and check nearby duplicates. We do not use it for continuous background tracking.
- Notifications: to alert you about assignments, visits, and other work. The system alert shows a short text; the detail loads after you sign in.
6. Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store an installation token, the platform (iOS or Android), the app version, the language, and the time zone. That token is used only to send operational alerts to that device.
The message sent through the notification service does not include client data. When you open the alert, the app loads the detail from the authenticated API. Signing out revokes the installation and deletes the local token.
7. Product analytics
We use Mixpanel, hosted in the European Union, to understand whether app flows work: for example, whether a search or a visit was completed. We do not build an advertising profile and we do not sell this data.
Events do not include name, email, phone, or lead, property, or visit identifiers. IP geolocation is disabled. In the European Economic Area, measurement stays off until you accept it in the app; you can reject or revoke it in Settings. Signing out clears the local event queue.
8. Error diagnostics
We use Sentry to record failures in the app and the mobile API. The purpose is to fix errors, not to analyze your commercial activity.
We do not send record contents, messages, session tokens, or contact details. An event may include an internal agent identifier, the app version, the device type, and a technical correlation identifier. Cancellations, network drops, and expected errors are not reported.
9. Data stored on the device
The session and the notification token are stored in the operating system’s secure storage. To stay responsive offline, the app may also cache records you already opened.
That cache is deleted when you sign out or when the session expires. Do not use a shared phone without signing out.
10. Processors and infrastructure
The app talks to Property Partners services hosted on Microsoft Azure. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), and the Expo push service. Analytics are processed by Mixpanel (European Union) and error diagnostics by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.). Corporate identity is provided by Microsoft Entra ID.
Those providers act as processors to deliver the service, under data processing agreements. We do not authorize them to use Konnect data for their own purposes or advertising.
11. International transfers
Part of the infrastructure operates outside Chile: Microsoft Azure (United States and other regions), Apple, Google, Expo, and Sentry (United States), and Mixpanel (European Union).
Those transfers rely on each provider’s data processing agreements and recognized mechanisms —including standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification— and, with respect to Chile, on the instruments provided by Law 21.719 and the Model Contractual Clauses approved by resolution of the Ministry of Economy.
12. Retention
Commercial records follow the CRM retention rules. A notification token is kept while the installation is active and is invalidated when you sign out, uninstall the app, or when the provider reports that the device is no longer registered.
Analytics events and error logs are kept for as long as needed to operate and secure the service, and are then deleted or aggregated according to each tool’s configuration.
13. Your rights
Under the law of your jurisdiction, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and, where applicable, portability and blocking over your personal data. Product analytics can additionally be turned off directly in the app’s Settings.
For a request, email soporte@ppartnersgroup.com from your corporate address and include your branch and country. We will respond within the applicable legal deadline and free of charge. If the request concerns client data belonging to a licensee office, we will route it to the responsible office and report on the outcome.
14. Jurisdiction-specific provisions
Konnect operates in several countries. This common core applies everywhere; the following provisions apply in addition, depending on where you are:
- Chile: Law 19.628 and, once it takes effect, Law 21.719 apply, including the right to portability and the rules on international transfers. You will be able to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency once it becomes operational.
- Spain and the European Economic Area: the GDPR applies (and in Spain, the LOPDGDD). You have the rights set out in its Articles 15 to 22 and may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your country’s supervisory authority.
- United States: applicable state privacy laws apply, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) with respect to workforce data where enforceable. Rights are exercised through the same channel indicated above; we do not sell or share personal data for behavioral advertising.
- Dominican Republic: Law 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data applies, including the rights of access, rectification, and cancellation it recognizes.
15. Changes
If this notice changes in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of Konnect after the update means the published notice is the current one.
